专利说明:

The invention relates to a wedging device for example for bottles within a transport case.
The invention applies in particular, but in a non-limiting manner, the storage and calibration of bottles in crates for transport.
It is well known, in particular in the French patent FR 2922526 a bottle lateral insert insert within a box containing it, made from a blank of packaging material. This wedging insert is constituted by a substantially rectangular base portion, in which partitioning shutters articulated relative to this base are cut. These flaps are able to move from an erased position in the plane of the base to an upright position relative to the base, by folding an articulated positioning fin relative to the base, this fin being an integral part of the base. insert. The insertion of such an insert in a bottle transport case is simultaneously with the folding of the fin along the line of articulation with the base, which has the effect of straightening the shutters of partitioning, each intended to be positioned between two adjacent bottles to prevent the bottles from colliding during the transport of the crate.
However, this type of insert can stall only one row of bottles. It is therefore necessary to use several of these inserts to wedge all the bottles of a box if the latter comprises several rows of bottles one on the other, which increases the consumption of material.
It is also known to use molded trays, usually pulp, to stall bottles in a box. These trays include the imprints of the bottles to create housing and ensure the protection of the bottles. There are also such trays including housing on both the front and back. Thus, it is possible to insert only one plate between two rows of bottles.
However, this solution is not optimal because the molded trays degrade quickly because of shocks generated by the bottles during transport, and in fact produce a lot of dust. In addition, the presence of cavities carrying bottle housings makes the molded tray bulky, inducing on the one hand storage problems and on the other hand the need to use adapted transport cases.
The present invention aims to overcome the above disadvantages of the prior art.
To achieve this object, the invention provides a device forming a bottle-setting insert within a transport box having side walls and a bottom wall, the insert being formed from a blank made of semi-rigid material and comprising: • a base part, • at least one pivoting separating flap between adjacent bottles, the flap being articulated between an erased position in which the flap extends in a plane containing the base part, and a separating position in which the flap is erected with respect to the base portion, a flap locating fin and which is articulated with respect to the base portion between an inactive position in which the fin is in the extending the base portion in the same plane, and an active position folded against the base portion, • a moving linkage means of the fin with the flap, perm the flap being moved into its separating position when the fin is moved from its inactive position to its active position, characterized in that the flap comprises first and second coplanar portions extending on either side of the plane containing the base portion in a direction substantially perpendicular to this plane when the flap occupies its position of separation to allow one of the two parts to be disposed between two adjacent bottles present at the bottom of the box under the insert and the other portion being disposed between two adjacent bottles disposed in the box on the insert.
In another feature, the base portion is of substantially rectangular shape.
According to another feature, the shutter positioning vane is connected to one side of the base portion by a hinge line, the pivoting flap is connected by one of its two parts to the base portion by a hinge line perpendicular to the hinge line of the fin, in that the linkage means in motion of the fin on the flap is a triangular shaped element having two sides respectively connected to the flap and the flange. fin by two folds inclined relative to the hinge lines of the flap and fin to the base portion, the two inclined folds of the connecting means and the hinge lines of the flap and fin connecting to a common junction port with the line of articulation of the fin bisector on both sides connected by the two inclined folds of the triangular element.
In another feature, the junction orifice is circular, and the hinge lines and inclined folds are diametric relative to this orifice.
According to another feature, the portion of the flap hinged to the base portion and the other part of this flap opposite to the junction opening are cut in the base portion.
In another feature, the triangular element has its remaining free side opposite the junction opening having an arcuate shape and a radius of curvature substantially equal to the radius of curvature of the barrel of a bottle, the center of which radius of curvature being located in the extension of the hinge line of the fin.
According to another feature, the first and second parts of the shutter are indifferently a trapezoidal part and a semi-ovoidal part integral with each other, the trapezoidal part having a shape substantially of right trapezoid whose inclined side, the large base and the small base are respectively formed by a fold of the moving connection means, by the hinge line of the flap and by one side of the flap adjacent to a cutting line of the flap extending from the end of the line of articulation of the flap opposite to the junction port to the hinge line of the fin and joining one of the folds of the moving link means, the semi-ovoidal portion having a substantially elliptical portion adjacent to the cutting line and whose rectilinear part is integral with the large base of the trapezoidal part of the flap.
In another feature, the fin comprises an opening ensuring the passage of the semi-oval portion of the flap to its separation position through the fin.
In another feature, the fin in its active position is folded against the base portion.
In another feature, the distance between the hinge line of the flap closest to one of the edges of the insert parallel to said hinge line and said edge substantially corresponds to the diameter of the barrel of a bottle. .
According to another feature, the insert comprises at least one bottle setting means disposed on the edge of the base portion opposite to that contiguous to the fin, the wedging means being articulated along a parallel fold line. at the line of articulation of the fin between an erased position in the plane containing the base and a wedging position in which the means is erected substantially perpendicular to the base to accommodate at least the neck and the butt respectively of two adjacent bottles positioned head-to-tail at the bottom of the box under the insert and at least the neck and the butt respectively of two adjacent bottles positioned head to tail in the box above the insert.
According to another feature, the insert comprises two flaps articulated relative to the base portion and two connecting means in movement respectively symmetrical to each other with respect to a central line passing through the base portion parallel to at the hinge lines of the two flaps, the latter being distant by a value substantially equal to the diameter of the barrel of a bottle when they are in their separation position, the fin comprising two openings each ensuring the passage of the part semi-ovoidal flap in its position of separation through the base, the arcuate edges of the two moving connection means forming a support for the bottom of a bottle placed between the trapezoidal parts of the two flaps in their separation position.

According to another feature, two opposite sides of the insert each comprise at least one recess and at least one vertex, each vertex on each side defining contact points capable of running along an internal lateral face of the body during the period of time. introduction of the insert into said box, so as to ensure the immobility of the insert in the box.
In another feature, each recess and each vertex are on the opposite free sides of the fin.
The invention also relates to a bottle transport box comprising a bottom wall and side walls, and a wedge insert device as described above.
In another feature, the transport case is adapted to carry at least two pairs of bottles, half of the bottles being arranged head to tail on the bottom wall, an insert device being placed on the first row of bottles. so that one of the parts of each flap in its separation position is inserted between two adjacent bottles, the other half of the bottles being arranged head to tail in the box on the insert device, the other part of each flap in its separation position being inserted between two adjacent bottles.
The invention will be better understood, and other objects, features, details and advantages thereof will appear more clearly in the explanatory description which follows with reference to the accompanying drawings given solely by way of example illustrating a Embodiment of the invention and in which: - Figures 1 to 4 show perspective views showing a kinematic of the passage from the erased position to the position of separation of the flaps of a wedge insert device according to a first embodiment embodiment of the invention; FIGS. 5 to 7 show perspective views showing insertion into a bottle transport case separated from each other by the wedge insert device according to a first embodiment of the invention; FIGS. 8 to 11 show perspective views showing a kinematic of the passage from the erased position to the position of separation of the flaps of a wedge insert device according to a second embodiment of the invention; FIGS. 12 to 14 show perspective views showing insertion into a bottle transport case separated from one another by the wedge insert device according to a second embodiment of the invention.
The invention is described below with reference to FIGS. 1 to 14.
The wedge insert device 1, 20 will be hereinafter referred to as insert. It is intended to be inserted into a C bottle transport case C, for example glass, to ensure the setting and protection of the bottles in the box. This wedge insert 1, 20 is formed from a blank of semi-rigid material, for example and without limitation corrugated cardboard single corrugation or double groove. Preferably, this wedging insert 1.20 is made in one piece.
With reference to FIGS. 1 to 7, a first embodiment of the invention will now be described.
The wedge insert 1 comprises a base portion 2 of substantially rectangular shape, in which are formed by cutting 7 two pivoting separating flaps 3 between adjacent bottles. To allow this pivoting movement of each flap 3, the latter is connected to the base part 2 by a hinge line 6.
Each flap 3 is pivotable between a so-called erased position, wherein the flap extends in a plane containing the base portion 2, and a so-called separation position in which the flap 3 is erected relative to the base portion 2. Preferably, each flap is erected substantially perpendicular to the plane containing the base portion 2 when in the separation position, as shown in Figure 4.
To allow the pivoting of the flaps 3 of the insert 1, the latter comprises a positioning fin 8 articulated with respect to the base portion 2 along a hinge line 9 perpendicular to the hinge line 6 of each flap 3. The fin 8 is hinged relative to the base portion 2 between an inactive position in which the fin 8 is in the extension of the base portion 2, as shown in Figure 1, and an active position. wherein the fin 8 is folded against the base portion 2, as shown in Figure 4.
For the pivoting of the fin 8 ensures the pivoting of the flaps 3, the wedge insert 1 comprises two moving connection means 10 of the fin 8 with the flaps 3 to allow the flaps to be moved. in their separation position when the fin is moved from its inactive position to its active position. Each moving link element 10 is adjacent to a separation flap 3.
Each moving connection means 10 is a substantially triangular shaped element, and will be named hereinafter triangular element 10. This triangular element has two sides respectively connected to the adjacent flap 3 and the fin 8 by two inclined folds 11, 12 relative to the hinge lines 6, 9 of the corresponding flap 3 and the fin 8, a first bend 11 being made in the base portion 2 and adjacent to the corresponding flap 3, and a second bend 12 being made in the fin 8.
The inclined folds 11, 12 of the triangular element 10 and the hinge lines 6, 9 of the corresponding flap 3 and the fin 8 are connected to a common junction port 13. In addition, preferably and in a nonlimiting manner, the hinge line 9 of the fin 8 substantially forms the bisector of the two sides of the triangular element 10 forming inclined folds 11, 12. Preferably, the junction opening 13 is circular, and the hinge lines 6, 9 and inclined folds 11, 12 are diametric relative to this orifice 13.
The remaining free side 19 of the triangular element 10, opposite the junction port 13, has an arcuate shape whose radius of curvature is substantially equal to the radius of curvature of the barrel of a bottle B, the center this radius of curvature being located in the extension of the hinge line 9 of the fin 8. The wedging insert 1 thus comprises two of these junction ports 13, one for each flap 3 and its corresponding triangular element 10 .
According to a feature of the invention, each flap 3 comprises first and second coplanar portions 4, 5 which extend on either side of the plane containing the base portion 2 in a direction substantially perpendicular to this plane. when the flap 3 occupies its position of separation, as is clearly visible in FIG. 4. This particular conformation of the wedge insert 1, when the flaps 3 occupy their separation position, allows one of the two parts 4, 5 a flap 3 to be arranged between two adjacent bottles B present at the bottom of the transport case C. The other part 4, 5 of the flap is arranged between two adjacent bottles arranged in the box on the insert 1.
The two parts 4, 5 of each flap 3 are indifferently a trapezoidal portion 4 and a semi-ovoidal portion 5, integral with each other. The trapezoidal portion 4 has substantially a right trapezoidal shape, whose inclined side and the large base are respectively formed by the first fold 11 of the triangular element 10 and the hinge line 6 of the shutter 3. The small base is it formed by one side of the flap adjacent to a cutting line 7 of the flap. This cutting line 7 extends from the end of the hinge line 6 of the flap 3 opposite the junction orifice 13 towards the hinge line 9 of the fin 8. The semi-ovoidal portion 5 has meanwhile a shape of ellipse portion, whose curved portion is adjacent to the cutting line 7 and the straight portion is integral with the large base of the trapezoidal portion 4 of the flap 3.
In order to ensure the passage of each flap 3 to its separation position through the fin 8, the latter comprises two openings 14 each ensuring the passage of a semi-ovoidal portion 5 of a flap. The passage from the erased position to the separation position of each shutter 3 is performed in a rotation around the hinge line 6 of the flap, each opening 14 is provided sufficiently wide in the fin 8 and preferably has a shape flaring towards the edge of the fin 8.
In this first embodiment, the two flaps 3 and the two triangular elements 10 are respectively symmetrical to each other with respect to a central line parallel to the hinge lines 6 of the flaps 3, and passing through the base portion 2 substantially in the center of the latter. The free sides 19 of the triangular elements 10 and the small base of the trapezoidal portions 4 of the flaps 3 are therefore opposite each other, separated by the cutting line 7 made in the base portion 2. When the flaps 3 occupy the position the two semi-ovoidal portions 5 protrude from the same face of the base portion 2 while the two trapezoidal portions 4 project from the other face of the base portion 2.
Finally, the wedge insert 1 comprises a wedging means 15 of the bottles disposed on the edge of the part of the base-forming insert 2, opposite to that contiguous to the fin 8. This wedging means 15 is hinged along a fold line 16 made in the base portion 2 parallel to the hinge line 9 of the fin 8, between a position erased in the plane containing the base portion 2 and a wedging position in which the means wedging device 15 is erected substantially perpendicular to the plane containing the base portion 2. This wedging means 15, already described in the patent FR 2682086, makes it possible to wedge the bottoms and bottoms of the bottles B in the box C, as will be described below.
Referring to Figures 5 to 7, the storage of six bottles B in a transport case C comprising a wedge insert 1 according to the first embodiment of the invention will now be described.
A first row of three bottles is first inserted into the transport case C. The bottles B are arranged head to tail at the bottom of the box. A stub insert 1 is then inserted into the box on this row of bottle, the fin 8 of the insert having been previously folded against the base portion 2 so that the two parts 3 occupy their separation position. Thus, one of the two coplanar portions 4, 5 of each flap 3 is inserted between two adjacent bottles, preferably but not limited to the semi-ovoidal portion 5.
As seen in these figures, the distance between the hinge line 6 of a flap 3 closest to one of the edges of the insert parallel to the hinge line 6, and said edge corresponds to substantially at the diameter of the barrel of a bottle B. Similarly, the distance between the two flaps 3 in the separation position corresponds substantially to the diameter of the barrel of a bottle.
Once the insert 1 in position in the body C, the wedging means 15 is then oriented by the user in its locking position, so that a first portion of the wedging means 15, positioned under the insert 1 to the bottom of the box C, can trap the neck of the bottle B of the middle among the bottles of the row of the bottom. In addition, the barrels of the other two bottles B of the bottom come into contact with the respective edges of the first part of the wedging means 15, to allow the setting of the bottles of the first row.
Another row of three bottles is then inserted into the box on the setting insert 1, the bottles being arranged head to tail, the other coplanar portion 4, 5 of each flap being inserted between two adjacent bottles. The second part of the wedging means 15, situated above the insert 1, performs the same function as the first part located under the insert 1, that is to say, to imprison the neck of one of the three bottles. while the barrels of the other two bottles come into contact with the respective edges of the second part of the wedging means 15, to allow the setting of the bottles of this second row. The two triangular elements 10 project towards the top of the body C, and the two free edges 19 arched vis-à-vis can accommodate and stall the barrel of a bottle B of the upper row. The user then only has to close and seal the body C for the transport of the latter.
The width of the wedge insert 1, that is to say along the hinge line 9 of the fin 8, has a dimension substantially equal to the width of the body, while the length of the insert 1, when the flaps 3 are in the separation position, is less than the length of the body.
Thus, to ensure the immobility of the insert in the body, the two opposite free sides of the fin 9 comprise a succession of recesses 17 and vertices 18 to form corrugated edges. The width of the fin 8 at the level of the vertices 18 is slightly greater than the width of the body C, these peaks 18 on the edges of the fin 8 thus forming points of contact capable of running along two internal lateral faces facing each other. with respect to the body C, during the introduction of the insert 1 into said body.
With reference to FIGS. 8 to 14, a second embodiment of the invention will now be described.
The wedging insert 20 comprises five pivoting flaps 22, alternately distributed over the base portion 21 and the fin 27 of the insert. The adjacent flaps are arranged with respect to each other in axial symmetry along the hinge line 28 of the fin 27 relative to the base portion 21, then by translation in the direction of this same line. articulation 28, so that the distance between two adjacent flaps 22 occupying the position of separation substantially corresponds to the diameter of the barrel of a bottle B.
In addition, the insert 20 according to this second embodiment comprises five openings 33 distributed alternately on the base portion 21 and the fin 27 of the insert. These openings 33 ensure the passage of the semi-oval portion 24 of the corresponding flap 22 in the separation position through the base portion 21 or the fin 27, according to the flap 22. The passage from the erased position to the position separation of each flap 22 being carried out in a rotation about the hinge line 25 of the flap, each opening 33 is provided sufficiently wide in the fin 27 or in the base portion 21 of the insert 20.
The triangular elements 29 are arranged regularly along the hinge line 28 of the fin 27. Each triangular element 29 has two sides respectively connected to the adjacent flap by a first fold 30, and by a second fold 31 made either in the base portion 21 if the flap 33 is made in the fin 27, or in the fin 27 if the flap 33 is made in the base portion 21. The folds 30, 31 of a triangular element 29 are inclined relative to the hinge line 25 of the corresponding flap 22 and the hinge line 28 of the fin 27.
The inclined folds 30, 31 of the triangular element 29 and the hinge lines 25, 28 of the fin 27 and the corresponding flap 22 are connected to a common junction port 32. The wedging insert 20 comprises five junction ports 32, one for each flap 22 and its corresponding triangular element 29.
In this second embodiment, when the flaps 22 occupy the separation position, the parts of the same shape (that is to say semi-ovoidal 24 or trapezoidal 23) of two adjacent flaps 22 project respectively protruding two opposite faces of the base portion 21 of the insert. In addition, the triangular element 29 of each flap 22 occupying the separation position and the trapezoidal portion 23 of said flap project from the same face of the base portion of the insert.
Finally, the wedging insert 20 comprises means for wedging 34 bottles disposed on the edge of the portion of the base forming insert 21 opposite that adjacent to the fin 27. As for the first embodiment each wedging means 34 is articulated along a fold line 35 formed in the base portion 21 parallel to the hinge line 28 of the fin 27, between an erased position in the plane containing the base portion 21 and a wedging position in which the wedging means 34 is erected substantially perpendicular to the plane containing the base portion 21.
Referring to Figures 12 to 14, the storage of twelve bottles in a transport case C comprising a wedging insert 20 according to the second embodiment of the invention will now be described.
A first row of six bottles B is first inserted into the transport case C. The bottles are arranged head to tail at the bottom of the box. A stub insert 20 is then inserted into the box on this row of bottles B, the fin 27 of the insert having been previously folded against the base portion 21 so that the five flaps 22 occupy their separation position. Thus, one of the two coplanar portions 23, 24 of each flap 22 is inserted between two adjacent bottles. The fin 27 folded against the base portion 21 is preferably against this first row of bottles B, but an insertion of the wedge insert 20 into the body C by the opposite face is possible.
As can be seen in these figures, the distance between the hinge line 25 of a flap 22 closest to one of the edges of the insert 20 parallel to this hinge line 25 and said edge corresponds to substantially at the diameter of the barrel of a bottle B. Similarly, the distance between the two flaps 22 in the separation position substantially corresponds to the diameter of the barrel of a bottle B.
Once the insert 20 in position in the body C, the wedging means 34 are then oriented by the user in their stalling position, so that a first part of each wedging means 34, located under the insert 20 towards the bottom of the box C, can trap the neck of a bottle B. In addition, the barrels of the other bottles of the bottom of the box, the neck is not in contact with the means wedging 34, come into contact with the respective edges of the first part of the wedging means 34, to allow the setting of bottles B of the first row.
Another row of six bottles is then inserted into the box C on the wedging insert 20, the bottles B being arranged head to tail, the other part coplanar 23, 24 of each flap 22 being inserted between two bottles adjacent. The second part of the wedging means 34, situated above the insert 20, performs the same function as the first part situated under the insert 20, that is to say, to imprison the neck of three bottles B while the barrels of the other three bottles come into contact with the respective edges of the second portion of the wedging means 34, to allow the setting of the bottles of this second row. The user then only has to close and seal the body C for the transport of the latter.
The width of the wedging insert 20, that is to say along the hinge line 28 of the fin 27, has a dimension substantially equal to the width of the body C, while the length of the insert 20, when the flaps 22 are in the separation position, is less than the length of the body C.
To adapt to the sizing variations of the boxes, the two free opposite sides of the fin 27 comprise a succession of recesses 36 and vertices 37 to form corrugated edges. These peaks 37 may form, during the introduction of the wedging insert into the body, contact points capable of running along two internal lateral faces vis-à-vis the body C. If the width of the fin 27 at the level of the vertices 37 is slightly greater than the width of the body C, while the latter are likely to deform along the internal edges of the body, to ultimately allow the introduction of the wedging insert 1.20 in the box C.
The device forming wedging insert 1, 20 according to the invention has the advantage of providing a separator element between each bottle of a transport case, ensuring not only their wedging in the body C, but also the protection of the bottles themselves and labels affixed to these bottles B. In addition, the small thickness of the insert 1, 20, preferably made of corrugated cardboard of 2 or 3 mm thick, reduces the size of the boxes transport C with respect to boxes comprising setting inserts of the prior art. Finally, the fact that the insert device 1.20 is plane when the fin 8, 27 and the flaps 3, 22 occupy an erased position greatly facilitates the storage of said devices 1.20.
The configuration as described is not limited to the embodiments described above and shown in the figures. It has been given only as a non-limiting example. Multiple modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the invention. In particular, the wedge insert device 1.20 is not limited to two or five shutters 3, 22, the number of flaps of the device 1.20 can be adapted for boxes C containing two identical rows of bottles B, whatever their number. In addition, the hinge line 9, 28 of the fin 8, 27 does not systematically form the bisector of the two sides of the triangular element 10, 29 forming inclined folds 11, 12, 30, 31. Indeed the angles formed respectively between the first inclined fold 11, 30 and the hinge line 9, 28 of the fin 8, 27 on the one hand and the second inclined fold 12, 31 and the hinge line 9, 28 of the fin 8, 27 on the other hand are not necessarily equal, provided that the triangular elements 10, 29 allow the corresponding flaps 3, 22 to be moved in their separation position when the fin 8, 27 is moved from its position inactive at its active position.
